D.C. NATIONAL GUARD YOUTH LEADER’S CAMP – DONATIONS
Each year, the DC National Guard helps send hundreds of children within the Washington DC Metropolitan area to our DCNG Youth Leaders’ Camp. This is an excellent opportunity for area youth to experience the “great outdoors”, while learning the key components of becoming a leader within their schools and local communities.
What does it take to send a child to camp? The average cost to send a child to camp is $350. This includes registration fees, camp fees, and additional items per camper. If you compare our cost vs. other camps (day camps or overnight camps) you will find that our costs are significantly lower.
Unfortunately, the cost associated with hosting a two week camp every year is primarily dependent upon the generosity of local businesses and people like you. The DCNG Youth Leaders’ Camp is a 501 (c) (3) tax exempt organization; therefore, all contributions are tax deductible.
